The TRE Air Locker features a seal housing assembly equipped with a TRE X-Ring. This X-Ring's four-lobed design doubles the sealing surface of a standard O-ring, requiring less compression for an effective seal. This reduced compression minimizes friction and wear, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting air supply to the air locker.

The inclusion of a wave spring significantly enhances the stability and durability of the locking and unlocking mechanism. Its compact design, which fits tightly in radial and axial spaces, is key. Crucially, wave springs are 50% shorter than standard coil springs, eliminating the need for deep spring holes in the clutch gear and thereby greatly increasing its strength.

For maximum durability and performance, the gears are crafted from the strongest 4320 chromoly alloy steel while the case is made from forged 8620 chromoly.
